Who has time to ponder philosophical questions? It's summer! The kids are home. We're driving them back and forth and packing and unpacking and going places and coming back. We need to simplify to survive. In the Huffington Post, I make the case for scaling back your summer vacation plans--you might not make it through that novel, but you can make it through a haiku.
